This complete exterior renovation of an existing parking lot includes permeable paving for ground water retention and drought-tolerant landscaping. An accessible path for travel and ADA parking was installed, as well as new ramp handrails and access to allow for code-compliant disabled access. A newly commissioned mural representing community activists is featured along the entire back facade of the community building. A solar patio canopy conserves energy and provides shade for gatherings, a stage area, and community events.
