10-Unit permanent supportive apartment building renovation, through the developer American Family Housing. Built in 1958, updates were required on the interior and exterior, which included replacing the doors, windows, roof, MEP systems, kitchens, bathrooms, overall finishes and landscaping, as well as being brought up to ADA compliance. Additionally, the original pool was demolished and replaced with a landscaped garden filled with California native plants and trees. A local artist created a mural which reflects the Garden Grove community and culture, to foster a sense of belonging and pride in the history of the area. This building will also serve the community as a supportive environment with staff who can service the residents.
