Blossom Market Hall started with a vision to bring high-quality artisanal foods from experimental young chefs to the historic Mission District in San Gabriel. The building shell is a Masonic Lodge from the 1940s, unique in its own way. We opened up the dark halls with a bright double-vaulted ceiling, creating space to congregate under a beautiful acoustic tiled blossom mural. A total of 13 small food stalls for emerging chefs and family-run businesses line the space. The stalls are a mix of 6 hot-cook stations, 4 cold kitchens, 2 cafes, and a beer/wine garden. The back wall is a stage for community events. This multi-purpose community space includes a second story with an office, art gallery/meeting room, observation deck, and a wi-fi lounge. Blossom Market Hall opened in December 2021 and has quickly become a San Gabriel favorite for residents and visitors alike.
